Philip Alberti, PhD is the Senior Director of Health Equity Research and Policy at the American Association of Medical Colleges. His focus is to support the efforts of academic medical centers to improve their efforts to build an evidence based strategy for advancing health equity. Dr. Alberti is a graduate of Columbia University and a National Institute Mental Health Fellow in Psychiatric Epidemiology Training Program.

Priya Bathija, JD, MHSA

Vice President Strategic Initiatives, American Hospital

Priya Bathija is Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at the American Hospital Association. In her role, she leads a number of key priority AHA initiatives among the nation’s healthcare systems, including affordability, value, social determinants of health, maternal and child health, and the 100 Million Mask Challenge in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ms. Bathija is a graduate of Ohio State Moritz College of Law and received her Masters in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan.
