Stephen Lockhart, MD, PhD
Chief Medical Officer, Sutter Health
Stephen Lockhart is chief medical officer (CMO) for Northern California-based Sutter Health, where his passion for equitable health outcomes has fueled his leadership efforts to provide equitable care across the system. A Rhodes Scholar, Stephen earned his master’s in economics at Oxford University, and received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Cornell University. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist. Stephen spends some of his free time climbing and backpacking and serving on the boards of the ECRI Institute, REI, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, and is chairman of Parks California.

Cassandra Willis-Abner
Chief Human Resources Officer, Press Ganey (formerly Senior Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Experience Officer, Trinity Health)
Cassandra (Casey) is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Press Ganey, where she is responsible for leading talent management and human resources functions, in addition to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Prior to her role at Press Ganey, Casey served as the Senior Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Experience Officer for Trinity Health, where she designed and implemented the system’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategic model and systemwide plan. Casey earned a bachelor of arts degree in organizational psychology and a master’s degree in health services administration from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
